Life is busy, I get it. There’s family to shuffle to and fro, schedules to keep, laundry, dinner, activities. The hamster wheel that is your day to day routine can very quickly take over your life.
Before you know it another year has gone by. The last year can probably be summarized in a series of selfies and snapshots on your social media posts. But did you do anything with those images or will they reside forever in your camera roll?
I've started arranging couples photography sessions for the two of us when we go on trips together. So far, we've have portraits from Palm Beach, Charleston and Hawai'i on our walls. I love seeing the wall art in our bedroom. They are the first things I enjoy each morning (my coffee is a very close second!). Seeing the portraits brings back memories and are a reminder that the years are speeding by.
So, what's my request? Make an effort to capture the love and affection you have for each other with a couples photography session. Have someone who doesn't know you create portraits for you. They are different from anything that your best friend or neighbor would take. Maybe you have an opportunity for an anniversary photography session! Celebrate that lifelong commitment to one another.
